Here’s the deal though, the work is free, but many of our interns have had their investment rewarded with full-time gigs here at Suitcase and other great shops.

You’ve got a head for creative and a knack for design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Maybe you’re even a student studying these things. What’s most important to us is a willingness to learn by doing, a keen get r’done attitude, and an ability to – y’know – design and take creative direction.
Job Summary: As a Production Design Intern, your primary responsibility is to assist in designing creative concepts for moodboards and websites or related collateral. Our ideal candidate is working towards, or has recently completed post secondary education in Design, Marketing, Advertising, Multi-media or the equivalent related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Information gathering
- Building of assets
- Q&A
- Prepping files for output
- Slicing/optimizing files for web
- Ensuring company-wide brand consistency
- Meeting deadlines
- Assisting with day to day tasks
- Working with Designer and Developer
Technical Proficiencies:
- Basic knowledge of Adobe CS Suite, HTML
- Knowledge of web usability
- Knowledge of main Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles
- Proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform and web-standards implementations/differences

You’re interested in the online space in a big way and looking for the opportunity to show your ability on some real world experience.
Job Summary: As a Front End Developer Intern, your primary responsibility is to assist in the translation of PSP’s into functional and pixel-perfect HTML page layouts using streamlined code. Our ideal candidate is working towards, or has earned, a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Critical Aspects:
- Slicing and optimizing images
- Styling current projects
- Developing functional page layouts
Responsibilities
- Understand basic SEO strategies and implementation techniques
- Ensure accurate presentation across all standard web browsers
- Stay current with leading web technologies and best practices
- Maintain current client sites
- Assist creative team with technical planning
- Ability to create clean, reusable code
- Q&A
Technical Proficiencies:

Our last Coordinator Intern was a big part of the success of a national campaign that executed across print, online and social media. That’s some good experience, we think. If you’re ready and willing to jump in and be part of some cool stuff, get in touch. You’ll be helping out wherever needed so flexibility and multitasking abilities are great traits.
Job Summary: As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be given the opportunity to be involved with all different areas of the company, while working on various accounts. As an intern, you will assist departments with daily client activities and be assigned projects. The ideal candidate is working towards, or has earned, a degree in Marketing, Advertising, or English.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to support the delivery of client projects, being mindful of deadlines
- Work on assigned projects as needed
- Communicate with clients as necessary
- Schedules meetings between client and internal team
- Organize project documentation, maintain accurate details throughout project lifespan
- Assist in Q&A of client deliverables
- Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last minute changes
